With the Z-8S, LOWA has created a robust task-force boot that is both very stable and lightweight. It is perfect for missions performed in arid regions with challenging terrains and for marches with medium-heavy backpacks. The six-inch (15-centimetre) upper made of tough suede leather offers maximum support. The LOWA cross-duty rubber outsole has a deep tread for outstanding grip on various surfaces and is optimised for abseiling.

• Outsole Lowa® Tactical Z Trac® : Optimised profile design for maximum slip resistance on a wide range of terrains
• Lowa Rubber Outsole : A Lowa-conceived component whose tread design is made from an optimised rubber mixture and was created with the challenges of real-world use in mind. The strengths of a rubber outsole are reflected in the excellent traction that it provides on all sorts of different terrains.
• Stability Frame design : The sole is highly elevated. The Lowa MONOWRAP® frame creates the optimal structure for the upper and provides a high level of stability.
• To provide optimal cushioning and improve comfort, the sole of the shoe is attached to the upper in a complex injection-moulding process meaning the upper shoe is placed in a specially-designed mould. The form is filled with several layers of a PU foamed material. This creates the sole and directly joins it to the upper.
• To stabilise the soles of directly sprayed LOWA footwear, a firm nylon joint-stabilising element has been integrated into the sole. As a result, the boots are perfect for more challenging outdoor uses.
• The textile lining offers both lightness and durability due to the low amount of material abrasion. It is easy to care for, comfortable and creates a very pleasant foot climate thanks to its exceptional
  breathability qualities.
