Metal Shim Set

The G&G Shim Set provides all the shims you'll need to properly shim your AEG gearbox. Shimming is a crucial part of AEG upgrading and maintenance. Proper shimming means yours gearbox will have less chances of lockups by keeping your gears properly aligned and away from the gearbox shell. This also can increase rate of fire as it will lower the gear friction inside your gearbox. Poor shimming can cause a large number of different issues from grinding, gear stripping and gearbox lockups. Most factory shim jobs can be improved as well for better performance and increased durability. Keep your airsoft AEG working and performing at its best by re-shimming it for optimal performance.
