This complete gearbox from Modify is part of the Torus series which are built for speed and accuracy, and features a reinforced design which massively improves on traditional gearbox design. The outer shell has an interlocking design which reduces torsion/twisting effects caused by forces inside the gearbox, and is fluted to improve strength, reduce overall weight and dissipate heat much more effectively than standard designs. Another interesting feature of the design is the multiple inspection ports which allow you to easily perform visual checks, and perform lubrication where required without disassembly. The shell is secured by oversized high-torque screws which ensure the shell is held together tight, and won't shake apart over the course of its' use.
